At the heart of Againstronger stands Afana, a passionate athlete whose dedication extends beyond his own performance. His path to coaching was driven by a genuine desire to help others discover their potential. After completing his training as a personal trainer, he chose to deepen his knowledge and refine his craftsmanship, specializing in Olympic weightlifting through the Dutch Weightlifting Federation (NGB).
As a certified NASM coach and junior coach in Olympic weightlifting, Afana combines technical expertise with a very personal approach. He understands that no two people are the same, and that real progress comes from attention to detail, consistency, and trust.
